After six years of Research and Development, our reliable and accurate OCIGO electronic breathalyzer is now available to everyone.

In Europe, there are two metrological standards that attest to the conformity of electronic breathalyzers and allow their manufacturers to sell them on Europe area : the EN 16280* standard and the EN 15964* standard.

THE EN 16280 STANDARD FOR CONSUMER BREATHALYZERS

The EN 16280 standard applies to electronic breathalyzers that measure the alcohol content of the breath, aimed at the public.

The devices must meet the requirements of the standard such as accuracy, reliability, electrical safety, product life and environment (temperature, humidity, shock, etc.).

OCIGO proudly meets all these requirements.

THE EN 15964 STANDARD FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT EVIDENTIAL BREATHALYZERS

The EN 15964 standard is dedicated to the breathalyzer tests used by law enforcement authorities that you find during a roadside check. It is the closest to the standard for evidential breathalyzers. We remind you of the difference between an a breathalyzer and an evidential breathalyzer in our article.

The requirements are stricter, particularly in terms of accuracy, because the tools are intended for law enforcement and must be as performant as possible.

OCIGO breathalyzers have already validated two of the most important requirements of the EN 15964 standard: accuracy and repeatability, which makes them precise and reliable breathalyzers!
